정의
관자엽 가쪽면의 구성 요소이다. 입쪽 경계는 위관자고랑의 입쪽 끝이다. 꼬리쪽 경계는 위관자이랑의 꼬리쪽 부분(모서리위이랑과 이어지는 곳의 뒤쪽)이다. 안쪽 경계는 가쪽틈새(및 존재하는 경우 모서리위이랑)이고 가쪽 경계는 위관자고랑이다(Christine Fennema-Notestine).
